Innovation
Equal ensures support for innovative solutions of problems of inequality and discrimination on the labour market. Innovation may take different forms: it can be an innovative approach to a problem or a transfer of solutions from other areas, or the manner of work organisation within the partnership.
Experience gained in programmes ADAPT and EMPLOYMENT shows that one or more of the following changes can be a result of innovative actions:
- development of new methods, tools, a new approach and improvement of the existing one (this is innovation focused on the process);
- formulation of new targets, identification of new and promising approaches, opening new ways to employment (innovation focused on the objective);
- development of the system responsible for the needs and problems of the labour market within political and institutional structures (innovation focused on the context).
