SOP ICE - basic information

What is the SOP ICE ?

The Sectoral Operational Programme "Improvement of the Competitiveness of Enterprises, years 2004-2006", also referred to as "UNION FOR ENTERPRISING PEOPLE – THE COMPETITITVENESS PROGRAMME" is one of the key documents that has been prepared in Poland under the National Development Plan 2004-2006. It sets out the framework for Structural Funds assistance following Poland’s accession to the European Union.

The SOP-ICE defines the objectives, priorities and measures for the implementation of entrepreneurship and innovation policy, with particular emphasis on the small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) sector. To this end, the Programme will use the resources of the R&D sphere, advanced technology, including the information technology and technology focused on environmental protection.
