Information on Scientific Units
Scientific Units authorized to issue independent assessments meant to confirm the period of eligibility of a technology which is used by the Beneficiary or which is the object of the Applicant's Project.
The requirement of attaching an opinion confirming the period and scope of eligibility of the technology applied, being the subject of an applicant’s activity, concerns micro-enterprises eligible for receiving support in relation to carrying out economic activity based on taking use of the advanced technologies of substantial market potential. The requirement of attaching opinions confirming the period and scope of eligibility of a technology which is the subject of the applicant's project concerns those entrepreneurs who wish to score points in the “Innovativeness” category upon the technical-economic assessment within Measure 2.3. An opinion has to be issued by a Scientific Unit as defined by the Act on the State Committee for Scientific Research of 12 December 1991, Article 3, point 4, or by a nationwide scientific-technical association which deals with technologies used in the supported investment.
In order to help entrepreneurs to reach the above mentioned institutions, below please find the so-called Map of Polish Science. It lists Polish scientific institutions including entities authorized to issue such opinions. This list is not, however, closed and it does not mean that other entities meeting the criteria delineated in the Act on the State Committee for Scientific Research of 12 December 1991, Article 3, point 4, or entities being nationwide scientific-technical associations in a related field cannot issue opinions.
