Eligible business environment projects
To be eligible for support under “UNION FOR ENTERPRISING PEOPLE – THE COMPETITITVENESS PROGRAMME”, business environment projects should deal with the following issues:
- developing and delivering new services for enterprises,
- improving the existing offer of business services, particularly with regard to quality and accessibility (e.g. purchase of new equipment and other investments to assist the implementation and operation of new service packages for entrepreneurs, cooperation with international networks of business support institutions, development of domestic networks of business environment institutions, etc.),
- promotional activities (e.g. creating professional online bulletins, promotional materials and factsheets, organising conferences and seminars),
- supporting and providing capital for micro-loan funds, credit guarantee funds and creating seed capital funds,
- building and developing infrastructure for industrial parks or science and technology parks,
- building or modernising technology incubators, including university entrepreneurship incubators,
- feasibility studies, business plans, environmental impact assessments and consultancy services to support management and operation of industrial parks, science and technology parks and technology incubators, including university entrepreneurship incubators,
- building and fitting out specialist laboratories for advanced technology centres, centres of excellence, centres of competence and other facilities providing expert services for entrepreneurs,
- research projects carried out by ATCs,
- research projects in the area of monitoring and forecasting of technological development (foresight)
