W dniach 27-28 marca 2008 r. w Wilnie odbyło się pierwsze posiedzenie Wspólnego Komitetu Monitorującego i Sterującego Program Współpracy Transgranicznej Polska – Litwa 2007-2013.
Podczas posiedzenia Komitet zatwierdził następujące dokumenty:
- Regulamin Wspólnego Komitetu Monitorującego i Sterującego Program;
- Wniosek aplikacyjny dla projektów ubiegających się o dofinansowanie w ramach Programu;
- Instrukcję wypełniania wniosku aplikacyjnego;
- Kryteria wyboru projektów;
- Plan komunikacji;
- Podręcznik Programu Współpracy Transgranicznej Polska – Litwa 2007-2013;
- Regulamin Wspólnego Sekretariatu Technicznego i budżet Pomocy Technicznej.
Ponadto podczas posiedzenia Komitetu zadecydowano, że pierwszy nabór wniosków o dofinansowanie projektów w ramach Programu Współpracy Transgranicznej Polska – Litwa 2007-2013 rozpocznie się 9 kwietnia 2008 r. i potrwa do 10 lipca 2008 r.

The first meeting of the Monitoring and Steering Committee of the Poland - Lithuania Cross-border Co-operation Programme 2007-2013 took place on 27th-28th March 2008 in Vilnus.
During the meeting the Monitoring and Steering Committee decided on approval of the following documents:
- the Rules of Procedure of the Joint Monitoring and Steering Committee of the Programme;
- the Application Form for projects for co-financing within the Programme;
- the Guidelines on filling in the Application Form;
- the project selection criteria;
- the communication plan;
- the Programme Manual of the Cross Border Cooperation Programme Lithuania – Poland 2007-2013;
- the Rules of Procedure of the Joint Technical Secretariat of the Programme and the Technical Assistance budget.
Moreover during the meeting Monitoring and Steering Committee decided that the first call for proposals for the Poland-Lithuania Cross-border Cooperation Programme 2007-2013 starts on 9th April and will last until 10th July 2008.
